2023 was a very busy and eventful year for us. During this period, UnMode managed to accomplish a great deal. We successfully implemented projects that affected hundreds of people and helped protect their rights. We participated in international and regional initiatives aimed at improving conditions for prisoners and people in difficult life situations.
Our work has been recognized in the media: over 50 articles and mentions about us were published during the year, and our team spoke at major international forums and conferences. We expanded the geography of our activities and continued to strengthen our ties with partners in different countries.
However, with growing popularity came new challenges. Working in an environment of heightened risks, we took important security measures to protect our team and beneficiaries. This required greater caution and behind-the-scenes work from us, but we remain committed to our principles - ensuring access to justice and protecting human dignity.
Every day we see the results of our efforts: over 500 people received direct assistance, and dozens of lawsuits were won thanks to our work. Our team continues to work in conditions of increased danger, but we do not stop and move forward.
