On June 16-17, 2021, the first full-time regional meeting of the UnMode General Assembly members took place in Batumi, Georgia. The meeting was attended by human rights defenders and activists from 4 countries of the EECA region — Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, and Russia.
During the General Meeting a report on UnMode activities for 2020 and the first half of 2021 was adopted and the strategic directions of the network for the next 3 years were defined.
One of the most important results of the General Meeting was the approval of the UnMode organizational structure and management system, financial procedures, security protocol, as well as regulations on the UnMode Board and membership in the UnMode.
On June 17, 2021 members of the UnMode General Assembly elected the first board of the network by open voting, and on June 18, 2021 all necessary changes were made to the founding documents and the UnMode Charter.
