Interim report on monitoring results

The UnMode team has prepared an interim report on the results of monitoring the situation of people using drugs in prisons in Ukraine (including territories temporarily occupied by Russia), Moldova, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Russia for the first half of 2022 and is ready to share the main results and work done, fresh analytics. So, some numbers:

1 special data collection form was developed for this monitoring project; the document included a section for interviewing convicts in occupied territories of Ukraine ;

9 street-human rights lawyers from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus monitored and documented cases of violations of the rights of prisoners and released from prison people using drugs.

250 people (35 women and 215 men) were interviewed;
