Financial audits of UnMode projects 2023

We are proud to announce the final and successful completion of the reporting period and the financial audit of the Organization's activities for 2023.
Financial audits of the two main projects of the previous year's UnMode were carried out:
1. The project of assistance to Ukrainian prisoners abducted in the night of 2022 by the Russian occupation authorities from correctional institutions of the Kherson region of Ukraine and illegally taken to prisons in Russia. The project was supported by the UN Foundation for Direct Assistance to Victims of Torture (UNVFVT).

2. The UnMode project in Consortium with the European Prison Litigation Network, Harm Reduction International, Health Without Barrier - Prison Health and Rights Consortium Project 2022-2024. The project is supported by the Robert Carr Foundation (RCF). The project is being implemented in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia and aims to reform penitentiary medical services by identifying systemic human rights violations against prisoners and conducting strategic court cases.

The positive results of the financial audit are of critical importance for UnMode.
We are confident that such results not only strengthen the trust of donors and sponsors, confirming transparency and expediency of spending funds, but also help our Organization to improve financial processes and internal control systems. Regular conducting of such audits is necessary for us to ensure compliance with current legislative and regulatory requirements, which, in turn, contributes to the sustainable development of our Organization and maintaining the reputation of UnMode at the appropriate level.
