Yesterday in Minsk our activist was detained by police and brutally beaten. The reason for his detention was a T-shirt with the logo “Support Don’t punish” and an anti-war stance.
He was held at the police station for 24 hours and then taken to court, where he was fined for displaying Ukrainian symbols.
Details of what happened at the moment we can not disclose, but we can declare that such actions of the police are unacceptable and sooner or later all officials who violate human rights, use torture, support totalitarian regimes and war criminals will be punished and brought to justice!
At the same time we want to express our respect to those people, activists, human rights defenders who in the conditions of repression and destruction of any dissent are not afraid to defend universal values and to speak out against the war unleashed by Russia in Ukraine.
